6. Payroll Estimates

TimeStride provides gross-pay estimates based on submitted timekeeping data for customers to review and hand to their accountant or licensed payroll provider.

TimeStride is not a licensed payroll processor. We do not calculate taxes, deductions, or net pay. All figures generated by the payroll features are estimates based on hours and rates entered by your organization.

Output from the payroll features — including pay period reports, CSV exports, and PDF downloads — is not an official payroll record, paycheck, or tax document. You are responsible for verifying all calculations and compliance with applicable wage and tax laws.

TimeStride disclaims all liability for payroll decisions made based on these estimates. For official payroll processing, consult a licensed payroll provider.

7. Communications and Data Retention

Messages, announcements, and other communications sent through the platform are retained as part of your organization's communication records. Organization administrators may have visibility into communications within their organization.

Default data retention for chat messages is 2 years from the date of sending. Organization administrators can configure retention periods within Settings. Federal law may require longer retention of certain payroll and timekeeping records regardless of platform settings.
